You could say that Apukka ticks all of the boxes for a winter 'bucket list' holiday: Glass igloos for uninterrupted views of the night sky above, the opportunity to see the Northern Lights, interactions with huskies and reindeers and the chance to sauna like a Finn.

We feel that, although a sizeable property, Apukka is the best of its kind in the region.

Aurora Cabin

The Aurora Cabin is a glass igloo, with heated windows to ensure that your viewing experience is never obstructed. Perfect for couples and small families who will make use out of the pull out sofa. A private bathroom equipped with shower and toilet, an electric fireplace, a mini-fridge, WiFi and complimentary coffee and tea provides you with the essentials to ensure a comfortable stay. The cabins are located within a short walk of the reception and restaurant - the closest category of room in relation to these public areas.

Aurora Cabin Queen

The Aurora Cabin Queen is a premium glass igloo (24sqm), with heated windows to ensure that your viewing experience is never obstructed. Perfect for couples and small families who will make use of the pull out sofa. A private bathroom equipped with a shower and toilet, climate-controlled air conditioning, an electric fireplace, a mini-fridge, WiFi and complimentary coffee and tea provides you with the essentials to ensure a comfortable stay.  The Aurora Cabin Queen is a little larger than the Aurora Cabin, are located closer to Lake Olkka, and have been designed with extra attention to detail in the interior decor.

Aurora Cabin King

The Aurora Cabin King is the latest addition to the accommodation offerings at Apukka Resort and their highest quality cabin. These premium glass igloo (27sqm) are perfect for couples and small families and equipped with kingsize bed, heated windows to ensure that your viewing experience is never obstructed, a pull out sofa, private bathroom equipped with a shower and toilet, climate-controlled air conditioning, an electric fireplace, a mini-fridge, WiFi and complimentary coffee and tea provides you with the essentials to ensure a comfortable stay.  The Aurora Cabin King is a little larger than the Aurora Cabin Queen and has a small living area. These cabins are located close to Lake Olkka.

Komsio Glass Igloo Suites

The Komsio Glass Igloo Suite is on two levels and perfect for couples. On the first level you have a comfortable sitting area with sofa bed and bathroom with shower and toilet. On the second level, climb up to the comfortable bed, which sleeps up to two people and has a 360º sky view from the glass ceiling. Other amenities include climate-controlled air-conditioning, a mini-fridge, electric fireplace, WiFi and complimentary coffee and tea. These cabins are located close to Lake Olkka.

Kammi Glass Igloo Suites

Kammi Glass Igloo Suites are the highest quality accommodation at the Apukka Resort. This two storey suite is perfect for couples and families. On the first level you have a comfortable living area with two single sofa beds, kitchenette (electric hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and coffee maker) and bathroom (shower, toilet and hairdryer). On the second level, climb up to the comfortable bed, which sleeps up to two people and has a 360º sky view from the glass ceiling. Other amenities include climate-controlled air-conditioning, an electric fireplace, WiFi and complimentary coffee and tea. These suites are located close to Lake Olkka.

Apukka Lakeview Suite

Apukka Lakeview Suite (40 sqm) can sleep up to six people and thus is a great choice for families or longer stays. The suite is equipped with two bedrooms (double and twin), living area with two single sofa beds, a kitchenette (dishwasher, fridge, oven, induction hob, microwave, kettle and coffee maker) and bathroom with shower, toilet and hairdryer. Other amenities include climate-controlled air conditioning, an electric fireplace, WiFi, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities and a patio with lake view.

Aurora Cabin Family

Our Aurora Cabin Family offers a spacious glass igloo experience for up to six guests, perfect for families or friends. Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Lake Olkkajärvi from the comfort of your private cabin. With a dedicated alcove, king-sized bed, and convertible sofa, there’s plenty of room to relax. Villa Apukka

Villa Apukka is our largest accommodation, offering privacy and space for up to 14 guests. This historic Lappish house, just steps from resort amenities, is perfect for multi-generational families or groups of friends.
